I would say I had a grand plan for my drawing today, but in reality, I just wanted an excuse to use just about every single marker in the new pack of Prismacolors I got over the holiday break. I created an ocean of color!
Per a friend's request, I had to create a cute scary monster and I know I was inspired by my recent exposure to the book Squid and Octopus and to the most awesome octopus-holding-presents Christmas wrapping paper I found at PaperSource this year.
